Right, considering I have the bright silver truck I want some kind of accent in the wheels as well.

No biggie GRI. The wheels were so bad that you could see them being WAY out as they spun on the balancer.

Also, JDH. You're buying some very nice chrome wheels. I'd take the extra time to get them turned at a machine shop instead of taking a chance on maybe messing something up. Just my .02

I wish these were the Polished but they are not sill will look good but I cant seem to find a shop to give me a price, experience has taught me to not assume it will not cost much. I know how much I charge per hour for my services and I am not cheep so I want an estimate before I spend money.
The deel is not off the table just some delays.

Just to put some closure on this topic I found this link on TDR forum it seems to be a great DIY and answers the questions I asked as good as is possible. The author gives complete instructions on the process.

SteveO Thanks for posting up pics of my truck. I guess I caught this thread a little late.
My local machine shop charged me $150 to bore out the wheels. However, tires needed to be
removed first. Add another $75 or so to remove, remount and rebalance the wheels.
I ran those wheels with the BFG KO 315/70/17 on my stock truck with no rubbing at all.
Tire/wheel does stick out a little.
Here are some photos.

Update.. I may have sourced a set of thes from a buddy of mine who has an H2 and put differnt rims on when he lifted it. He is the kind of jackass that has no idea what he has. More questions though.. Can I put my stock tires on these H2 rims for now until I can afford better ones? He has tires on them, I don't like them and they are under rated for my eventual plan to pull a 5er....

I looked ithem up I know they are 17 inch wheels. Stock they put 315 70 17's on... Would my stock tires fit that wheel in width? I belive the wheel is wider...
