Default CAT Scales

I am thinking about stopping at the truck stop down the road from my house this weekend and weighing my rig. I know the trailer weighs about 10k, but I'm curious to see what the entire rig weighs when loaded down.

I have been affraid to do this in the past because I think that it might be better if I don't know how much weight is really back there.

Does anyone know how much it typically costs to weigh at the truck stops?

$8.50 sounds right, I think that's how much we got charged when we had our trucks weighed to see if someone made it overweight and caused the breakdown when I worked for Budget/Ryder(yellow truck) break down.
