Default Install Troubles...of course!

I headed to my buddys house at around 9. We were going to just install the stage 2 AFE and take pictures of us doing it for me Senoir Project (my truck). Well the only trouble that gave us, was having to trim the battery tray and the fact that it is pushing up against my AC lines inst that great, but if I have a problem with the AC atleast I know where it will come from. After we finished that, around 10 we dicided to start the edge with attitude. Ricky has put in on the better part of 12 of the items on the same model truck and its the type of thing once you do it once, you dont forget. So we got around to the "plug-and-play" part, and there is no plug and play about it. We found that the truck has for sure been chipped before, has bigger fuel lines, and alot of the "plug and play" spots are not the right 3 or 2 prong plugs. So we are bringing it to the shop tonight to put up on the lift and make sure there isnt some wierd disign to mine. My engine looks like a later model engine arond a 98.5 in what thye call a 2002. And another part that sucked is after looking around the engine compartment, there are tape lines from where someone repainted it all around the engine. And they painted my black bolts silver, give away right there.

So hopefully today we will figure out the edge problem. It really sucked because nothing lined up.

It is toward the rear of the intake manifold. Pretty much right above the stock lp.

i am starting to believe that who ever chipped this thing first or what ever they did, they messed it up. I just checked it out there, there is absolutely nothing that will connect to the map senor? is it even possible NOT to have one?

Go a foot towards the firewall. I'd take a pic but I found out cameras don't like mud.[:@]
