Just wondering if dodge ever made a second gen Dodge ram shortbox regular cab with a diesel in it. Or if anyone has done the shop post tips and pics.

As far as I know, Dodge has only used the shortbox w/ regular cab combination for the Ram 1500, and they only put the diesel in the 2500 and 3500. Some of the other guys can probably verify the exact year, but it wasn't until the late '90s that you could even get a short box on a 2500. When Dodge started building the extended cab-short box combination they were probably surprised how well it sold.

 

I'm pretty sure I saw a dually like this once, can't be sure tough

 

dually's have a weird way of making the bed look shorter. cuz it's turned my head a few times but it's def a reg cab long bed dually.

 

I know if was def a dually, it was newer too. I'm just not sure if it was a dodge or not, might have been a cheby

 

you know waht I know what it was. you can get a chassis cab in rcsb then you could buy a six foot bed and put it on and tada rcsb diesel.

 

I know that ford does make a short bed dually but I haven't seen one in a regular cab.

 

Jeff Garmon took a RCSB 05 1500 v6 and dropped a built 12 valve under the hood. . .that was a beast
