i know the 07's have both the 5.9 and 6.7 diesels in them but is there any difference in like the body or suspension between the say 06 3/4 ton rams and the 07 3/4 tons?? im curious cause i see alot of suspensions lifts for 06's and all and i was curious what else was changed on the 07 other than the swap from a 5.9 to the 6.7. i cant really tell a difference between like body and suspension im just curious? also what would be invovled in swapping the tail lights from my 07 to say 06 or 05. i like the flat lookin tails a little better then my 07 ones. thanks for the help

 

My cousin got the 07 with a 6.7 and the only difference I seen was the engine and the mile long DPF underneath

 

Tail light wiring connectors are different. 06 lights have separate bulbs for stop and turn. 07 have combined brake/turn signals.

 

ok thats kool anyone else know bout the suspension wise stuff??? i do see alot that says 07 but i didnt know if there was a different in them with the diesels motors being different in 07's

 

I have an 07 5.9. According to the salesman (which actually seemed knowledgable, dealt only with the trucks) the only diff between the 06 and 07 other than the 5.9 and 6.7 is the tail lights.

 

ya thats what im thinking thats really the only difference i can see.
