and damn those keys are huge too lol. I hit the panic on my dad's by accident and pressing it again wouldn't turn it off. I was flipping out. I got in started the engine to no avail pressed panic button like ten times to no avail then finally on like try 11 it worked and shut the hell up.

Exactly. I used to keep all my keys on the same ring minus the fobs. With my 2007 key being huge, its on its own separate ring, damn good thing it goes to a CTD.

yea i am sure glad i dont have the key pad thing on the key it-self... i never have that problem, although i do always make the mistake of opening my door to fast when turning to park or backing up w/ my door open and that damn alam goes off. GOD DO I HATE THAT[:@], and its the worst late at night, early in the morning or in a parking lot. (it happens about every other week w/ me)

I have a cure for you...pop open the key/remote/whatever you wanna call it like you are going to put in a new battery. Push our the electronics part it should all fall right out into your hand, then put a little piece of scotch tape over the little gold colored fingers that the panic button touches when you press it. With a little common sense this should be an EASY fix. Downside would be you can never use the button as long as that tape is there, but if you are like me you never do anyway...not on purpose anyway.

I would take some pics and give better idea what I mean but my stupid camera is broke....if you can't figure it out, lemme know and I will give you my number and you can call me, and I will talk you through it.

Good idea twofer.............I'll do some exploratory surgery on the little bugger and rip it's frekkin guts out !Nothing worse than pulling up in a stump puller of a truck and going nuts trying to shut the damn thing up while your hunting buddies are snickering at ya !
