Default tranyy trouble i think

i am new to DF, i have a 2000 cummins 4x4, superchips programmer, valve body, and a deeper pan on the truck, the trouble i am having is from a dead stop, when you take off the truck hesitates for about 5 seconds then will peel the tires, wondering if the torque converter is going, any help would be great

the truck rpms hesitate, in nuetral there is no hesitaion, rpms climb like no tomorrow, don't think that it is a fuel problem, just put a new injection pump on and the fass system, just whenever there is any torque on the back wheels, does it in reverse and drive

yup, whether the superchip is in or not, same thing happens, one mechanic told me the clutches, and the person i get all the mods done at, he said the torque converter, had another look at it tonite, and was wondering if the kick down cable could be the problem, it has about an inch of play from when the throttle is depressed till the cable moves, not really sure about it though
