Yep, been wanting to do one of these for many years and price is really getting reasonable. I'm west/northwest of Atlanta , GA

Just learned I have really hard ground as it took them longer to drill a well than they expected, but they hit water so it appears I will actually have a more efficient system (better heat transfer) in hte long run.

how deep did they go to hit the water table???

BTW, my National Guard unit is not far from you. . .just behind McCollum Airport in Kennesaw.

BTW, my National Guard unit is not far from you. . .just behind McCollum Airport in Kennesaw.
They said it was about 150 ft. really, thats only about 6-7 miles from here. I dont remember seeing that back there, i'll have to look closer next time.

my sis lives off of Burnt Hickory road. normaly when I have drill I shack up with her for the night. takesa bit overan hour to drive back home to fayetteville.

anyway, if your on old 41 going northyou'll pass Cowboys, then the fire/police station and your'll hit McCollum PKWY. make a right and it will be there on the left.

150ft to the water table. . .thats pretty shallow. some of the wells down here are 250+. I'm on city water though

Ditto here with the county water. We were joking that we should go ahead and add a water well while theyre at it since we have that great watering ban going on.....
