Just learned I have really hard ground as it took them longer to drill a well than they expected, but they hit water so it appears I will actually have a more efficient system (better heat transfer) in hte long run.

how deep did they go to hit the water table???
BTW, my National Guard unit is not far from you. . .just behind McCollum Airport in Kennesaw.

my sis lives off of Burnt Hickory road. normaly when I have drill I shack up with her for the night. takesa bit overan hour to drive back home to fayetteville.
anyway, if your on old 41 going northyou'll pass Cowboys, then the fire/police station and your'll hit McCollum PKWY. make a right and it will be there on the left.
150ft to the water table. . .thats pretty shallow. some of the wells down here are 250+. I'm on city water though

Ditto here with the county water. We were joking that we should go ahead and add a water well while theyre at it since we have that great watering ban going on.....
