Default Im getting an oil burner!!!!

Well guys, (and girls) hello to all. I am currently dealing with the loss of my beloved Toyota Tundra. (it was stolen from a friends house while I was at work)[sm=boohoo.gif]. But the good news is that the insurrance company, is going to settle this friday Oct 5. Now down to buisness, I am in the market for a 2500 Mega Cab 4X4 with the 6.7, the delemma I am faced with is as follows. The dealer that I have been speaking with has contacted me, regarding the purchase of my new truck, and has offered me a truelly great deal if I can purchase it by tommarrow, ( to help fill there quota). But I am worried about my truck being recovered in the next six days,Has anyone ever delt with a problem like this??
any comments or advice would be greatly appreciated.

also, is anyone still having problems with the 6.7??

thanks finny, I have about a 15 mile drive just to get to my town, and my daily commute is nearly 150 miles round trip. so I don't think that will be a factor.

sounds like your between a rock and a hard place.... how much of a deal are you getting compared to buying it past there quota date. did you try another dealer for a price, if not maybe show them the quote on paper from the first guy and ask if they match or beat this price and that will give you a bigger window of time. dont take this the wrong way but if you planning on going into a CDT, ya better hope they dont find that damn tundra because its going to be pretty upsetting driveing that toyota the day you were supose to leap into a dodge...

almost forgot......[sm=welcomesign.gif]

It kinda sounds like a sells pitch to me. They should be able to sell the same truck for the same price regardless of what day it is.
