Default Brake controllers, what do you have?

I am asking this question here, because I am interested to hear from those among us that have a jake brake, and trailer brakes too. I had a tekonsha voyager in my tundra, but I am wondering about the newer technologies that are out there, I bumper pull a '06 attitude 25AK. It weighs in at about 10k lbs.
( can you belive i used to tow that with a tundra[sm=insomnia.gif])

do you guys use weight distributing hitches?? I still have mine, and a sway bar.
just wondering if I am going to still need it with the new muscle!!!

WDH. . .I would still use one. . .you would be amazed the difference even with just 10K even though the suspension is WAY beefier.

Prodogy brake controler is a good one to go with. . .I dont have one, but I may need one before too long. . .

I have a brake force controller but I don't even use the brakes going down mountains because of the exhaust brake. As far as the weight distributing hitch goes I still use it but I quit using the sway bar when I got the dually. You will love the CTD.

I have the new Prodigy and it works well. The only problem I have with it is where you have to mount it the LED is hard to see. It has several color backgrounds to select from but in the daylight, they are all hard to see easily.

I use a Tekonsha P3 for a brake controller. piece of cake to use, and install, takes longer to figure out where you want to put it than to install it.

As far as the WD/anti sway stuff, I have a 5th wheel do I dont have that stuff, however If I were you I would use it since you already have it....better to use it and not need it, then find out you need it and you aren'tusin it.

I've got the Pac-Brake exhaust brake (jake brake). If you tow alot, spend the extra money and get one. You'll wonder why you didn't do it sooner.

I use the Prodigy V3 as well, and YES use your weight distributing hitch. It's the law in most states when towing over 5K anyway. I wish I could get the exhaust brake, but for now it's not in the budget.
