Default Thinking of converting my 5.2 to a cummins.

Hey, haven't done somethin' like this before. I've got a buddy who had a 93 single cab long bed f150 and dropped a stroker in it and it kind of inspired me to drop a cummins in my 98 1500 ram. Right now it has the baby 5.2 v8 in it. Just wonderin if the 1500 chassis would be ok for this? Any tips or anyone who has done this?

find yourself a wrecked 93-98.4 12 valve truck and pull the pack. . .you may need some stiffer springs up front since the engine itself tips the scale close to 1000lbs without the tranny.
