Well my dad was driving down the highway and the truck shut off with 1/4 tank of fuel. I told him to turn the key and he got the code P0216, P1693, PPECU and PPCU. Do you think it is a lifter/ injection pump problem? Its an 02 24 valvle. Thanks guys

Check the fuse on the lift pump. Most of the time they don't just die with out some indication. Mine blew a fuse going down the highway and just quit as you described.
