All I got done to my 02 is the AFE stage 2, magnaflow, and edge with attitude and soon a fass....but i have NO idea what is normal for these trucks to be boosting. What is tooooo high? and what is a low boost? I dont think I have ever seen mine boost over 19 on the attitude?

i think thats a little low.... mine gets as high as 28...... avg. about 18.

 

why would it be low? bad turbo?

 

i also have the 2002 and mine only goes to about 18-19 psi on 3rd level also

 

alright then that makes me not feel soo bad...

 

Do you guys have boost elbows? (I think they come with some Edge kits). Mine went to low 20's (I got it to go to 25 once, but that was in 5 going up a hefty hill and playing around) before I got a boost elbow on it. I don't know if there is much a differance from 02 to 03 on the boost levels.
With my boost elbow I get up to 36... I am not sure if I need to turn it down or not (the elbow is adjustable) anyone have a suggestion?

 

the 02 do not have a boost elbow, but yeah the edge came with one but says it is not need on a 02 because they dont have one..

 

My stock turbo would pull as high as 38 on the edge if I turned on the water/meth 40.

 

My edge comp came with a plug for the waste gate line and I see upwards of 36lbs. Anything over 40 on the stock turbo and all your doing is heating up air. NC is yours an auto or a stick? There were different turbos between the two. The auto has a metal wastegate line and the stick has a silicone hose.

 

My son just put Autometer guages on his 2001 and is regestering 30lbs. He has a chip and a 5" exhaust so far.
Anyway were can he get a pressure snubber that will allow the Autometer fuel pressure guage to live?
