Default 06 3500 steering?

I have a 2006 Quadcab 3500 Big Horn 4x4. It's a workhorse with just over 10,000 miles on it now. I started noticing a clunking I can feel and not necessarily hear in the steering. Especially when holding a slight turn to the right like going around a long bend in the road between 30 and 50 MPH. Seems to have gotten more noticeable over the last couple of weeks. Just wanted to see if anyone else has experienced this? Truck is still warranted and I will be bringing it in to the dealer, soon hopefully. It's a workhorse and I can't afford to down the truck right now.

BTW, the truck is completely stock. Only added a trailer brake controller to it.

if it was the ball joints you would be all over the road. . .maybe atrack bar issue.

Do you have it in 4WD when it does it? If so that is normal (one wheel needs to slip a little, and if you have too much traction it will "grab and jurk" every once in a while). If not, then it might be the u-joints at the steering nuckle... mine did it when they broke, but it was more of a soda pop can crushing sound...
Don't know for sure, but just putting some ideas out there...

I agree with Sereguial, the steering knuckle u-joints. Mine went unusually early. Get under the truck on the inside of the wheel and shake the u-joint, if it wiggles at all it needs to be replaced. Compare both sides of the truck. Will be covered under warranty.

Thanks for the input. I will check the steering knuckle u-joints. It is happening in 2WD on the highway.

Update:

The dealer installed a new steering box. Problem solved.
