This is why October is my FAVORITE MONTH!!! I still got a bit of baseball left - - I got football --- and oh yeah baby I got HOCKEY....
Now if only I could get my husband to let me WATCH them on the TV!! This following stuff on the net is very slow and painful at time.

We've got an AHL team down here. But I really don't know too much about the sport and I'm not too sure how much support the team gets from San Antono. I"ve never been to one of their games.
The Spurs pretty much take top billing for sports in town.

TB Lightning. Hockey is H-U-G-E in Florida, don't ya know? Ha. In reality, the Bolts do get a good turnout and have pretty good support in the community, especially considering the number of other pro sports teams located here in Tampa, or close. Winning the Cup didn't hurt their popularity any either, that's for sure.
