There was a message on here a few weeks ago about someone closing shop and having extra motors ready for sale.

BKS, there is a salvage yard here in upstate SC that specializes in CTDs. They buy alot of wrecks at auctions and pull the drivetrain to resell. I think the name is R.B. Theo's. Im pretty sure they ship and guarantee what htey sell. What happened to the 98, Did it have the 53 block?

Theywere wanting $10500 for them and they were getting around 700 hp out of them. That would be cool but not what you want to put in a truck with 200,000 miles on it.

I'm goin to look into that. The truck was a farm truck that My brother in laws' brother in law drove without oil for nearly a year. It has been satting at a body shop for nearly two years now and they are claiming they can't find an engine.
