Default 4 Wheel Parts Complaints

Thought I'd post this sight for anyone wanting to research a company or product before making a purchase. It's www.ripoffreport.com and this link has a lot of complaints about 4 Wheel Parts and Pro Comp tires http://www.ripoffreport.com/reports/...off0108276.htm.

I read through a lot the posts and most were concerned with warranty, returns, misordered items, and shipping charges as well as just being straight up with the customer. These posts were not aimed at just one store but rather different stores in different states.

You're right ... and in retrospect I should made the subject line of mypost www.ripoffreport.com. You've had no problems and other folks have. I personally had a set of Pro Comp tires and will never buy another pair again. I did buy them from 4 Wheel Parts and the installer did not install the correct size wheel weights and I threw one with only 35 miles on the tires. Took it back and it was corrected but not without a three hour wait. I took the truck in again for a rotation and had a 0900 appointment but the truck was not worked on until 1030. That's my experience and I do research, to a certain extent, everyone I do business with.

I used 4Wheel parts for my leveling kit & Pro Comp tires.

I had no problems what so ever. The guys are our local shop are really good. They give you exactly what you ask for on time and on price. I've even had 'my' sales guy tell me to wait a few week cause what I wanted was going to be on sale.

I think this specific complain shows a bad set of stores that had a bad run. Yeah it is going to make the companies life a bit difficult for a while since the lawsuit part looked really big.

As with any shop / national chain anything you get differnt service from each place. Heck I have one Jack in the Box that can't ever get my Sourdough Jack right -- but the other one a ways down the road always holds the bacon for me. So am I going to write off every single Jack in the Box because one store is stupid??

I believe its a matter of how the particular shop/business is ran, especially true of "chain" stores, go one shop and get great service go to another shop accross town and get poor service. Just like we see at the Stealerships, atmy regular stealer I have a great relationship with them.(although it took going to about 6 different ones till I found this one) Management at this stealernot only treat their customers right but also treat their employees right! Been dealing with these people for 15yrs and they virtually have thesamepeople in the service dept from day one! Never had issues with my mods, they even go as far to ask if I set programmer backto stock (incase I forgot to before hand) before they start work on my truck. Now thats service!!

I bought from 4 wheel parts and loved them, no problems at all. I did not have them do any work to my truck though..... I leave that part up to me. My wheels and tires came from them mounted and balanced, so far they are as smooth and perfect as can be.
