Just an observation I think you guys would like
Every once in awhile OLN (outdoor life network) has truck pulls on and i was just watching the super stock diesel trucks and couldn't help but notice that like almost every single truck there is a dodge 5.9L cummins 12 or 24 V. I'd say it's at least a 8/10 ratio for dodge. I guess those guys know who the best is and that's why they use it.
someof the reasons is the ISB can easily be modified while still retaining most of the stock internals, torque is made low and stays relatevly flat across the power band. that means the more RPM's you can pump out the more HP you can get. . .to a point.
just those two reasons is why you'll see more inline 6's at those type of pulls over the V8's.
