What ball joints to order? 1 degree camber or not?
I was on the LOVELY rockauto site and wow. Ball joints are cheap. There are 3 kind, spicer, moog, and AC delco. I think they all have lifetime warranty. My question is some are normal and some have a 1 to 1-1/2 degree offset for different camber. How will i know which ones i need. all i know is my allignment shop said theyc ant allign my truck because my ball joints are shot. so i want to change them myslef but how do i know what ball joints i need? offset camber or not?
Also wondering out of curiosity why some online stores state different part numbers for the moog parts? Ex: rockauto says i need a K7448 (upper) and K7467 (lower). Some other sites say K7397 and K7369????Which one lol

what site do u order from? Does rockauto ship to canada? Also yes if you get a chance goto rockauto.com and search for 2004 ram 2500 diesel . All 2500 and 3500 should be the same but some say L 6 C and some 2004 diesels say L 6 or something.

yup, adjustable. didnt see that when I was looking the 1st time. if you can set it to 0* when you do the install, I'd get them still... the alignment you can do yourself unless you have someone do the ball joint install... then just have them do it since they have your truck already.
doing the alignment w/o the camber is pretty easy... I did mine earlier when I did the tracbar install and it has worked out really well.
