Default first upgrades to my truck

hey everyone, i have a 2005 dodge cummins 3/4 ton and i want to get and cold air intake, and i also want a dual exhaust....but its still under warranty so im not taking out the cat converter jsut yet, for intake i was looking at the AFE air intake or AFE PG7 air intake.....anyone know the difference???
and for dual exhaust, since i only wanna do cat back with maybe downpipe i was looking at MBRP 4" duals with high flow muffler cat back.....
how do u guys think they would work, would they work together good? would it affect my warranty at all??? should i maybe go for 5 inch???
any tips or tricks would be much appreciated...please and thank you

I have never had any stealership complaints about having an aftermarket exhaust on my truck when I took in in for warranty. As a matter of fact the loved it and they remember me just for my truck its sweet personal service.

AS for first upgrades, I'd reccomend some gauges to set a base line on your engine's parameters. Just a thought........... __________________________________________________ ______________________________

If you want to go real low budget like I did the K&N drop in filter is alright. It's has a huge amount of surface area compared to stock and has to flow a lot more. Mine was like $65. My filter minder would go up to about %50 with the stock filter in now it doesn't budge.

As for the exhaust, the local muffler shop charged me 100 bucks to cut out my muffler and weld a delete pipe and new hangers in. I left the kitty alone. I like the way it sounds and it turns some heads. Figure I'll go all 5 inch when it rots off. I didn't get any lights or codes. Just my hillbilly$.02

Hey bksram3500, I ordered the Isspro gauges and mount from dieselmanor.com It was a package deal for around $270.00 plus the plastic primer for another $5.00. The top coat to match the dash came from the the dealer, maybe $12.00 for a small can. That assembly was installed before the Edge Attitude came along, but now I have two levels of temps for the egt's and trans temp. Hope that this helps............

i dont care much about money at all....ill spend w.e. is good quality with good results always in a reasonable price range....but im thinking about 600 bucks for exhaust system and about 500 for intake should do it...
AFE stage II and magnaflow cat back dual exhaust system, all im wondering about is if its going to bring my check engine light up?
