well let me say i would vote for a dak with a 4 cylinder cummins in it.

I think the 4bt motor is too tall for the dak engine compartment. from my understanding, it's a pretty tall motor.

Yup, sure is... near donner summit. Picking it up this morning. this will be the 1st big load I've towed with my truck since I've owned it. the truck supposedly weighs 4750 stock (w/o shell) + the trailer so what close to 6k? too bad it's all down hill, would have been nice to put a good load on my truck beyond the blasting it up the hills.

I'm going to do a diff swap writeup for the 2nd gen dak forum, I'm hoping that's all it needs so hopefully it'll be up & running pretty quick. a good bath and detailing and it should be good to go.

nice good luck with it... i remember one of the diesel mags had a dak with a cummins on like 40's pretty sick.. no to mention the banks sidewinder... cant be that hard.. lol jk good luck with it!

that is a good point... I thought the 4bt motor was the same height as the 5.9 motor so it could be done.
