Got'r to 105
Went huntin this last week and got my Polaris up to 60 somthin on a deserted peice of black top but got to thinkin what would happen if a bull elk pulled out in front of me id be screwed so slowed down and pulled my head out of my ***!!
If the charger is anything like our durango, it cuts out at 115. I think my truck was 110, but i'm not really sure.
My most eye opening moment was when I was driving up 35 to Duluth and I saw the carnage from a black bear honda civc meeting. I had my eyes peeled the rest of the trip and from that point on, I very very rarely push it past 80. It's just not worth it. About the only place I will open it up any more is way up north were we go hunting. Plowed fields for miles, roads so straight it will make you dizzy and durning the day time, you can see for miles.

Before I had a wife and mortgage, I got my Gixxer 6 up to167mph. That was all it had, I slowed back down to 100 and it felt like I could get off the bike and walk beside it. I still wonder how I didnt kill myself.
My truck runs out of RPM's at around 100. My '86 mustang could do 144 according to the performance mags of the times. The speedo stopped at 85, but when running all out it would dangle down at the 6 o'clock position. The car was very unstable at that speed, I didn't linger there long.

I've had my truck up to 118 with the current tires and 120 with my last set, I never hit a limiter or ran out of power, just didn't want to push the rpm into the red. I've got the 3.55 rearend though so I have a little longer legs than those with 4.10's.
I hate to admit it but on my 2000 CTD I had the 3:55 gears. I was coming out of Atlanta on I-85 early one morning pullin my 27ft gooseneck piece of crap horse trailer and got in a race with a powerjoke. I got it up to over a hundred on a long hill. That does"nt sound to bad, But I was grossing about 20k[:-]Probably was the stupidest thing Ive ever done in my life, but I did burn the ferd. My buddy was hanging on for dear life while it was happening and has'nt rode with me to Atown since.
