I read over at TDR where a guy yanked his out. . .every so often the CEL will pop up, he just uses his code reader to delete the light and he's off again.

there are two tubes that come off the DPF, one at the front and one in the back. . .all that do is send pressure back to a differential pressure meter to tell the computer to go into regen mode. if the pressures are equal then no need to go into regen mode, if the pressure are different it will then command regen.

Kinda like those stupid sensors on garage doors that re-open it if you cross their path? I have my 2 garage door sensors mounted on the ceiling about 1" apart from each other. If you try and install the opener without the sensors the opener won't work.

There's way's around everything.
