I'm stil confused they are made of paper/playdough/ something else not metal? wtf is that. the ball joints on my wrangler have 110k on em and they are tight as they were when they rolled off the factory. although they are servicable and have grease zerks on em.

thats the difference. . .if these were servicable I highly doubt you would see the problems there are.

Exactly what Drew said. If Dodge put a fitting on the ball where I could grease them, I am sure I would get much longer life out of them. Even the dealer who replaced them said the ball joints are a weak design on the Dodge HDs.
