I was wondering what most of the people in this forum used their trucks for? I have been using mine as a service truck for the past 11 years. It has alot of highway miles as well as driving down alot of caliche / gravel roads. When it has some weight in the bed, its a super smooth rider, even better than my buddies 03 3/4 ton 4 door cummins. It tops out at around 74 mph but i usually stay around 65 while still getting around 14mpg.

 

right now daily driver road pounder. occasionaly carry some heavy loads of sand from the blast pit at work to shore up low spots in the yard.

I run a handyman business on the side, so it's used for construction and pulling a 19 ft. cuddy cabin.

Haul horses, hay,feed,bedding, anything and everything.

 

what ever I need it to do ...That's why I bought it.

Mine's pretty much a weekend warrior. I have a crap car I drive to work and I rarely haul/tow anything of concern. When asked my reason for buying it, my answer is "Just cause"

 

Daily driver. weekend off roader. family trip hauler. smoking out tailgaters. and pulling people out that are stuck when I get the chance.

 

My truck my primary vehicle, so I use it to commute, run errands, etc. During the summer, I use it to pull my 6500 lb travel trailer. I'm almost thinking I need a bigger RV to make full use of this truck.

Mine was originally purchased to be my tow rig but then got rid of my Rock Crawler...so now its just to get me to and from work while looking good and the occasional drags. (legal drags of course) OK... and the not so legal drags too
