There are two black trucks on there. Which one are yall talking about?
BLACK TRUCK 1:

BLACK TRUCK 2:

I personally like the black truck 2. At $28K though it is a bit much and by the time I get the money for that truck it will be gone.

Are yall talking about black truck 1? 140Kmiles on an 04 isnt too bad for that truck, is it?

I will call the guy tomorrow, I'm figuring hes not open on a Sunday.
Thanks everyone!
Austin

I looked for a long time before deciding to buy new. I looked at and found a lot of beat units, and lack-luster maintinance records. I'm picky, there is no doubt, but when the chance came up to buy a early 06 build with the options I was looking for, I jumped on it. I ended up traveling to Missoula, MT for the purchase... they seem to have abetter outlook on business than the folks here in the Seattle area do. Could you score a better interest rate buying new vs. used? Also, beware of buying used from a dealer (I'm anemployee of one)... everything seems to be a local trade-in when in reality it's probably a roached auction vehicle witha really good detail. Just my $0.02, best of luck on your search!

Well I have been quoted a little more than $34,500 for a 07 2500 CTD fairly loaded, automatic...

Is that pretty good?

I am not afraid of traveling 1000miles to get a reallyyyy nice truck! So if you all know of a good truck, or of killer deals... let me know please!
Anyway, keep the opinions coming please!
Thanks,
Austin

my suggestion would be to buy new. It costs more money however your not buying someone elses problems. No buddy sells a perfect truck they sell because they are tired of dealing with it. I would say that if you wait a month or two then you could probably score a really good deal on an 07 that they want to get rid of cuz of all the 08's. Just a thought.

I just bought a 2004.5. I think the only difference in the 04 and the 04.5 is that the 04.5 has the Cummins 600. It has a little more hp and torque than the 04. You can tell by looking at the data plate on the engine. If it says 325 hp it is the 600 or 04.5.

I paid about low $33,000 for mine in January. It was a leftover and end of the month.

Is this the 5.9 or 6.7? I'd be steering clear of the 6.7's for a while. Just my $.02
