I want to de bage my truck. Im wondering id anybody knows if the cummins logo on the front quater panel is glued on or if its stuck on via threw the body. I guess want i want to know is if i take it off will there be anything under it beside the paint and some stick stuff left over. any help would be great

 

its on with like a double sided tape material so once you get it off use some goof off or something and your good

 

I've heard you can work it off with a piece of fishing line. Once you have it off, you can get the glue off with Goof Off like 59 said.

Why are you taking them off? I kinda dig em.

 

I dont understand debadging at all. Alot of guys do it though.

 

I like em without the badges.....just gives it a cleaner look....

 

I'm naked of badges, easy to do... took me a couple hours with a heat gun, some plastic tools and a buffer... good luck.

 

it is just stuck down with 3M tape....i put 03 badges on my truck..took of my stock ones..and then 2 months later took of the 03 badges and am now naked :-))) you should use a heat gun to heat then up, then just knock them off...after that use a drill and a end that is called an auto eraiser and it will come ride off....and then i used asatone for anything left after that..worked great....and looks great!

 

OR if your careful... grab a credit card that you don't need... and use fishin line and use it as a saw behind the badge....then use the card and 3M Adhesive and Wax Remover...... Just be carful.. the card may leave little scratch mark.. but a bottle of scratch be gone will do wonders for your new nekkid truck....
