for all of you who bought a new cummins......
just wondering how long/how many miles you plan to keep your truck for. I was looking at the prices for diesels and obviously they cost more but if you are able to keep it for twice as long in the long run it seems like the extra money is not that bad of a deal....

It depends on who croaks first, me or the truck.....

that's such a nice truck and definately well built. bullet proof tranny I bet the added confidence of that is great when ur towing or doing anything for that matter.

Bigriver.. thats one awesome tow vehicle!

I think I'll keep mine till the 10's come out.. I paid 6g's to get into the diesel game.. I plan to stay in it.. I didn't need a 4wd.. but a part of me wants it anyway.... so I'llwait forthe 09's to be on close out.. the 6.7 6speed auto should be perfected by then.. also assuming reasonable fuel prices and the world still exists in 2010

Thanx for the compliments, I appreciate that. A buddy of mine has read up on the Myan calendar suddenly ending in 2012. He's already looking around for a hole to crawl into !

Well since I got 12 years and 245 thousand on my Dakota with a little hands on here and there most of it easy even when I had the heads off twice, so I be in the CTD till one of us wears out first, unless I start covering the state again, I probably wear out first.

If that happens I have to have my brother smoke the hurst or better yet throw me in the bed and take me up the grave yard hill the hard way
