Default Block heater alternatives

My work has me staying at hotels on occasion. Is there any other way to keep my motor warm if I've got no place to plug in? It should'nt be a problem often but is there something to cycle the motor or heat it? Thanks.

hmm a Jake Brake helps it warm up faster - - or a remote start. But either way your heating it up after it has started.

Put a big ol' generator in the back then just plug the truck into that

Got a remote. I read that my 53 block can crack with uneven heating in cold temps. Maybe I'll put my camp stove under the pan.

Make sure you get a bottom floor room where you can park next to it and run an ext. cord out the window. Don't forget to turn room heat up

/\ What he said. We do that all the time and only once asked by manager what the cord was for. I looked at him and pointed to my truck and he laughed. I cried cause he pointed to a ferd.

That seems like the best idea. Beats burning too much fuel. Thanks.
