I guess where you live that is average. Here in the city I'd say that 20K a year is a tad on the high side. You're talking more like 40K a year !!

yea these trucks you are lookin at all have high miles... that is when you would definitely wanna know as much as possible about the maintnance records because a lot of people buy them drive the heck out of them for 2 years dont care than trade it in and do the same..

That is EXACTLY what my friend is doing. He is a contractor who just bought a brand new Cummins. He'll keep it for about 3 years and I'm tellin ya he'll probably never change the oil in it. His idea of maintenance is to just trade it in. [:@]

I see what you mean. Still if it has that many miles its gotta be mostly easy highway. I can tell the red one wasnt used to haul stuff much, more as just a daily driver. All the 05s pretty much have anywhere from 70k to 100k miles. So 88k is about average apparently.
My 05 has 44,000 miles.

Would not say that. just make sure maintenance is good and that it is the right truck for you.

austin, those are both nice trucks but for the money like mayfair said seem a tab bit high. i just purcahsed my truck in january and its an 05 with a long bed and laramie package meaning leather and all the gadgets. well it had 11500k on it when i bought it and i got it for 28500 off a used car lot. but if thats what they are going for in your area you cant help that. i do not know what to look for on a used truck, i just jumped into mine and im sure you'll do the same also the truck you said that was a smoker..... THATS WHAT I SPEND MONEY ON MY TRUCK TO DO!!! but i understand there are diffrent strokes for diffrent folks!
