Default 2005 3500

I'm thinking of trading my 2002 3/4 ton for a 2005 1 ton with half as many miles. What do you guys think about the 05? any serious problems with them? Do you know if they came with 3.73's? The '05 has 70,000 miles, it's a Laramie, quad cab, with a flatbed, and they want $26,000

That is a beautiful year and truck. I have the 2005 2500 and I love it. the laramine package really makes a difference as I have been in non laramine and They are kind of bland. imo

Its a great truck!!! Mine is a 3500 w/3:73. Just pay attention to the tie rods. As for the Laramie package... mines an SLT with all the power stuff and other goodies as the Laramie minus the leather seats!

Disclaimer: No animals were harmed in any way to make my SLT... SpLaT (except for the skunk I pancaked yesterday.. eeeewwwwee! and the deer.. thank god for the Road Armor) .. That reminds me.. I gotta wash the truck... [:@]

Oh all-right then its not quite a Laramie.... but mine is a work truck, the sun roof would be nice but I'm afraid I'd leave it open and go through one to many mud holes, which would turn my woodgrain tirm into a "mudgrain" trim.

I don't think we are stealing the thread... just stating facts.. these trucks are great in any trim!

ps. If I coulda got my truck in Mopar Charger green it woulda been even better!![sm=icon_sneaky.gif]

One nice thing the dealer does also, is they charge you for the laramine badge. literally the badge, on top of the package, the badge is on the build sheet. I love it. I wish they could debadge from dealer and give the savings.

Mine's an 06, but I have to say it's by far the best truck I've ever owned. I've moderately tricked it out, but for the most part, it's a fine machine. I think that if I did not have the 5'ver camper, I'd have settled for a 3/4 ton. Just personal preference there.
