Shame on me !!!
Ah the dreaded "Exxon Valdeze" syndrom.
My story goes like this..... I changed the oil on my '99 Ferd and the oil filter was not a straight up and down installation. It mounted at an angle so you always got a little on your hands and down your arm. This time the little on my hands let me loose grip on the filter and it poured right down my arm and all over me and the driveway. Now I am a good mechanic and would not dream of changing cold oil, so it was fully up to operating temps. You know 2 quarts of hot oil spreads out a LOT on you and the driveway! [:@]

Glad to hear it was nothing major and that you easily figured it out. Next up, the finger touch drain valve huh?
