Help!!
I am trying to replace a u-joint on my front drive shaft. I was removing the drive shaft and I stripped one of the torx bolts. I don't know what to do. I tried drilling it, but it is in such an odd place, I can't do much. I have heard you can cut a slot in the head an use a screw driver to remove the bolt. I don't have anything to cut a slot with. I'm stuck. Can anyone give me some advice. My truck is stuck where it is until I get the bolt out.

If you can get your hands on an angle drill, that would be your best bet. I just had a similar situation a yesterday with my dirt bike engine on the crank case, those jap geniuses decided to use Phillips head bolts. It wasn't in an awkward position like yours, but I just drilled off the heads then once I got the cover off, I was able to back the bolts out with vise grips.
Is there any way that I can disassemble the front u-joint so that I would have more room to work. I'm not sure what holds the u-joint in. There are some small pieces of plastic sticking out of the u-joints. There are no c-clips like there are on most u-joints. It looks like the pieces of plastic go all the way through and hold the u-joint. Does it have to be melted or something? Thanks for the help.
