I changed my fuel filter today and the last time b4 that was in july. I must say DAMN did it ever stink. it kinda had wax crystals on it to. It was a fuel filter from dodge themselves. i now replaced it with a WIX fuel filter and drained the reservoir completely b4 adding new filter.

 

Wouldnt know Mine smells like diesel and always used Wix. I never let anyone other than me touch my pickup and Wix/Rotella T is all that goes in it.

 

I never took the time to smell mine.
