2006-2500 HD cummings (towing)
If its not too late, rethink purchasing a toy hauler that heavy. Your going to be way over yourGVWR and probably your GRAWR on a 2500.The issues besides the legal ones are the suspension and braking ability.
And don't downplay the legal aspects. If your involved in an accident while towing and the investigation shows you were towing beyond the specs, you can be held liable and your insurance company can refuse to pay anything.
If you've already got the toy hauler, you ned to take it to some scales and weight the truck, the truck and trailer combined to get accurate weights to base your decisions on. Don't rel6y on the weights published by the trailer manufacturer they don't include any options (air conditioner for example), tank weights, etc.
