Default 3" lift on a 2500

i posted this in the third gen section but there are much more hd's over here than there are over there so here it goes:

i was thinking about lifting my 2500 3 inches... i already have a 2" leveling kit on but i was gonna take that out and put in a 3" spacer from top gun customz... Now by doing this i would also need to get shocks and then do a 2" add a leaf in the rear. Now it is reccomended that i use a track bar relocating bracket.... why would i have to move the track bar? so before i order anything which i probaly wouldnt do for a while anyway would it be ok to do it without relocating the track bar....... or does anyone know where you can get a bracket for less than $75.... for second gens they are 20 bucks.... any help is appreciated... thanks..

Get a adjustable trac bar from Don Thuren. When you raise the front end. The axle get off center. They pull to the passeger side. Need to realign it.

yes you will definately want the tracbar... I got one from Thruen and love it. was a snap to install and recentering the axle was not too bad. once I was done with it I had to fix my alignmen and thanks to Don Thuren's guidance, it was a piece of cake to do. a little time consuming but easy none the less. before the axle recenter & alignment fix I had some cupping on the tires on the insides of them (fronts), after the alginment... nothing on 1 side and an ever so slight cupping on the other.

I'm curious, but does anyone tow their 5th wheel with a lifted truck? Does it cause any problems?
