Yes this is one of our firetrucks in our vfd, we have 3 of these, this is the middle one, I built this one and another one identical to it the winter of 03-04 then I built another one the winter of 04-05, The chief has the first one, myself (asst chief) has the second one, and the newest one is sitting in the fire hall, we have 14 units, most of them are placed at ranches all around our protection area, roughly 400 square miles. thanks for the welcome!

Welcome and VERY NICE rig.

How many gallons of water doesyours carry? Our 95 "Ferd" brush rig has a 250 gallon skid unit from Darley on board.

Damn automatic causes us some fits though. Shifter cable seems to be stretched.

Doesn't have the Diesel fortunately. We got a 460 gasser motoing it down the road.

Which State are you in? Must have some financial backingto the "N"th degree to be able to afford to park units around your area. Wish we had that kind of backing.

we carry 300 gal water and 6 gal of foamand have a darley skid in one, mine has a cet and the other is a waterous bb4 pump with cet skid, we finance our dept by community donations and we also take 4 trucks and travel all over western S.D. and eastern M.T. , The money we make fighting forest fires pays for the new equipment, Also I should add the other 10 units vary in age from 1970 up to 1994, mostly chevy and dodge gassers, The 4th rig is a 2003 ford F-550 fourdoor, It carries 500 gal and also has a bb4 pump, with custom made tank for the utility box its mounted In, Its an okay rig but the dodges beat it in power and fuel econ.
