$3.39 per gallon!?!?!?!
filled up today for 3.05 a gallon. thats up 10 cents in less than a week! im gonna have to master my fuel saving abilities again.
and like i said i always use valero, and have never had it shut off at $75. ive heard of that before, but i filled up for $86 and then today for $97 and did it all on one swipe, but that may be because im using a valero card instead ofcredit or debit. my buddy always uses his debit to fill up and he says before he starts pumping he goes inside and tells the cashier to turn the limiter off because he usually spends about $150 a fill up.

I can't wait to move closer to base so I don't have to drive as far. One tank gets me back and forth to work for easily two weeks if I don't go too far a screw around too much otherwise. This tank I stretched over three weeks with some carpooling and leaving the truck in the garage. I am expecting to drop over 100 bills to fill her up tonight.
3.47 here in McGill NV as of yesterday. Will probably go up again in the next day or so. Last week, the Texaco down in Ely was at 3.59. Should be higher now. I need to find the book on Biodiesel that I bought last year. Has the plans for the "reactor" to make it. With prices this high, I can definitely lower my costs.

The USA economy is taking a 3 way hit right now:
1. High crude oil prices
2. Collapse of housing price bubbles in some areas
3. Industries cutting back capital spending until they can tell if major changes are coming after the Presidential election.
Keeping out of recession with those three hits is going to be difficult.
I certainly pray we don't get a 4th hit from somewhere unexpected.
