Well you need to realize that big turbo's that get you over 450+HP which is low boost for a big turbo are not very fun to drive around town due to turbo lag and I have been in a dodge with a aurora 5000 turbo and normal acceleration around town it seemed almost kind of sluggish, that is untill you get over 2k RPM and you are off and SMOKEING!But I personally go with the aurora 2000 a pretty noticable jump in HP or a the 3000 for close to or over 500HP.

Default RE: whats the best aftermarket turbo

The truck right now has 125 horse injectors, edge juice with attitude, ats exhaust manifold, four inch strsight exhaust, afe intake, fass fuel system. the turbo that went out was an edge jammer ceramic ball bearing turbo built by turbonetices. I think the turbo has been going outfor a while I used to be able to buile 40 pounds of boost and that was when i let off of it, but now i can only build about 28 pounds of boost. they are going to warranty the turbo but it is gonna take two weeks to get it back. when i get it back ill see how it does but if it does not work as good as i want it too i was wondering what turbo will be the best. this is what i want out of the truck. I want 550 horse power. I figure i dont need that much for towing maybee 400 for towing but have the chip i can turn up for racing. I want to atleast run low 13 second quarter mile times. but still be able to tow with it. any ideas for the turbo or what else i need to do. Thanks Curtis
