Default whats the best aftermarket turbo

Thanks for the ideas on lowering my egts I put on an ats waterboy system. I think it helped a bunch. I was racing my friend tonight after putting the water injection on and I lost my turbo and my alternator so does any one have an idea on what the best aftermarket turbo may be. to build the most boost, keep exhaust temperatures down, least turbo lag, but i dont want to spend the money on a twin turbo set up. Thanks Curtis.

Depends on what kind of hp you want at the rear wheels. I myself wnat to get around 305-350hp at the rear wheels. I plan on getting an aurora 3000 from ats http://www.atsdiesel.com/atswebsite/...bo_systems.asp.

Nope, I actually use my truck to tow and I don't need to be burning up pistons and such everytime I tow a trailer. I figure 300-350hp is about the most I can squeeze out of my truck before it starts getting to unreliable.

well like jakebake said... its all about what you use your truck for... if you want the thrill of racing and stuff maybe go for the bigger turbo. you want to spool quickly and do your towin smaller turbo... if you wanna go all out and have both compound!! someday...someday... i will have it!! lol

stock you are putting down about 280 to the ground. a few weekends ago I put down 425 on the stocker. yea, things were getting a bit warm but still completely manageable.

what box are you useing and what HP number are your ultimate goal. if your wanting 400-450 your gunna want a bigger turbo.
