Default need gps help

I got my GPS unit today cobra nav 2100. I want to know if anyone can guide me on where to download maps of mexico to be used on the gps? I will probably never travel to Canada unless woligater wants to give me his truck HeHeHe. but Mexico is a somewhat common place for my family and I to travel.

Does their website not have downloadable maps and links? That is one thing I love about my TomTom, it came loaded with Us, Canada, Mexico, Central America, South America, all of Europe, and a good chunck of Asia. I can swap out maps and add more if I want and there is still 11 gigs left over for pictrues and music. Such an awesome device. Good luck with your Cobra, I have heard good things. We expect a thorough review.

checked there website, no downloadable maps. I have sent them a e-mail inquiry and hope they respond. My time has been real limited with a lot going on. My wifes cousin had a baby and it was a premie Friday night. so between month end at work, Always hectic, and spending a lot of time at the hospital I have not been active on the forum or in life. I am just now starting to get things back in order and I am beat. I wonder if tom tom maps will be compatible.

I dunno, but I am pretty certain to obtain maps legally from TomTom you have to be a registered owner

Read some of the posts. had a lot going on. we will discuss more at the meet SATURDAY I hope. Cousins girl had a premie, it touches home because my second born (you never met) was born 1 pound 10 ounces. his was a three pounder and with month end at work and trying to juggle family. it has not been easy to do anything except the necesities. Lets meet up either aturday evening or afternoon sometime. Get little foot, Ears (aka pinky, aka dumbo, aka Jon) and Naughty one also. he has been hiding his mega cab from everyone.

Also Called copbra today, they said no support for maps in Mexico and not even working on it. so I guess I will have to buy myself a different one and donate this one to the wife in the future. I like this unit a lot but need the Mexico maps.
