Default RE: Do I need 5 " exhaust?

if i deleted the cat myself could i just stick a 4" piece of flexpipe in there in its place?(with 2 - 4 inch stepclamps)or would that flexpipe rattle to **** under there?

Because where i live a 4 inch turbo back kit is $900. and a 4 inch pipe to fit where cat is is $100

Now if i could just replace cat with 4 inch flexpipe and remove muffler with a str8 through one couldnt i save lotsa money? Why r the kits so much are they shaped with different bends than stock?

whats the difference between the 4040 aero and the 4040xl aero?ones a muffler and ones a resonator. the resonator is $190 and the muffler is 4150. Does the resonator give more power than the muffler?
