Default update on beasty and why I'll never eat at Arby's again.

Well. . .after quite a few miles of not a single hiccup I think I found what was going on with my truck causeing it to die. . .I took a move from the Second gen playbook and cleaned the ground wire with my wire wheel. so the reason for her killing off was just due to my TST momentarily turning off due to a bad ground

Nowabout Arby's. Yesterday I had to drive almost to Tennessee to recover a hummer that blew its transmission. on the way back I stopped at an Arby's at a Truckstop for lunch, got a BLT. . .kinda like them. Anyway, I had already been feeling a bit under the weather for the past week, but nothing to faze me. Last night after getting back from the pistol range was a true Nightmare. . .I was one digit away from calling 911. The only thing I could figure was the lettuce was bad, even though it looked ok on the sandwich, it probably wasnt washed enough. I still have yet to fully recover[:'(]Food poisoning SUX!!!!!

glad to hear you fixed your little problem, yeah I hate fast food for that reason! I would rather have food poisoning on a day I have to work though haha!

Food poisoning can usually be soeasily prevented by washing the food, utensils, prep surfacesand the workershands.

Not just fast food places... When I was traveling a lot, I used to stay in Orangeburg, SC and eat at a "Fatz" restaurant about once a week. I ate at this particular place weekly for a year or better. One night I ate there and about 1.5 hours later...well you know what happens, and it happened ALL nightlong and into the next morning. I didn't eat at ANY Fatz for like two years after that. I have also had a bd experience with Arby's and didn't eat there for 10 years, I really don't care for that place anyway. You just never know when it will get ya.

Nothing is worse than getting ill away from home. I had to take a puddle jumper flight while having a touch of food poisoning myself a few years ago. That was the longest 60 minutes of my life trying not to spew. Of course no bathroom and no F'ing barf bags on the plane (not that one was going to do me any good anyway). I could thank Taco Bell for mine. Talk about needing to make a run for the border, geez.

that is one of the reason I do not like to par-take in fast foods, Its better to eat at home anyway.

i rarely do the fast-food game... 1 hour after you eat it you are hungry again!

also, i figured if i stop eating it and talk others out of it we might be able to have the same example on the american side which in return would make a better life for us men here in america........

I got it so bad a few years ago it K.O.'d me for about three days. I actually had to go to the doctor because I couldn't stop vomiting and spewing out the rear for two days straight. Finally I got some drugs and was knocked out for another day and a half and all was better. Man that sucked. It was from dollar wing night, I haven't been back there since.
