If you havea 2003through 2005, it can be calibrated by revs per mile. If you have an 2006 and up,only a new tire size can be entered. Biggest tire on the list of acceptable tires is a 285. But I would be glad to help......

They are "supposed " to do the out of park alarm because it is a "safety" issue. You could take the service manager aside or the tech(if they will let you talk to the tech) and tell him that you would prefer not to have the recall done. If they hook up the star scan to recalibrate the speedo, it does not automatically do the recall.

Now why the hell cant I have a service guy in my area like this guy???!!!!! [:@][:@]I need to have my speedo recalibrated for my 285's but really dont want to go to a sub-par service dept. I talked to a guy on TDR who worked at one dealership here and said the only good tech is gone. The other (where I bought my first truck from) I wouldnt trust with my bicycle.

I went to 2 dealers to have my speedo recalibrated. They both wanted 75 bucks to do the job. [:@]

Needless to say, my sppdo is still not reading correctly.
