trans temp
i started to plow w/ my truck for the first time last night and i seen temps around 185, and they stayed anywhere from 150-185 all night as i pushed......... anyone know the danger number i should be looking out for?!?!
there's a nice chart someon had that showed all the temp ranges and how it affected fluid life and transmission reliability. don't remember who posted but i've seen it a few tiems. for some reason 200 is waht i was thinking was the danger zone

my'07, 5.9 had a reading of 210 last month, camper on the back pulling 1500 lbs., in low gear, in four wheel low, climbing a dirt road, cooled right down when conditions got better.
i should also add it is generally in the 140-160 range.
