Default trans temp

today after school i finally got my trans temp senor hooked up to the edge attitude. never saw it about 150 just going to asheville and back...what is toooooo high on a tranny? what is normal?

Highest I ever saw was 200 pulling the 5'erup and down some mountains.

the guy that just built mine said it would run hotter then a stocker but is alost made to handle hte power and heat soo...

150 is awesome... I've never seen mine above about 170, for the most part it runs 145ish~150 or so.

I heard someone say once about 100 degrees over ambient would be considered normal...and that is about what I normally see on mine anywhere from about 80-100 degrees over the ambient air temp. Only times I have seen higher is in stop and go traffic and building boost at the stop light to beata ricer.

how do you hook up a trany temp sensor to the edge? i dont have any information about that you could even do this.

mine came with the probe and the wire..and when i built the new tranny i just had the guy put in the senor and just connect the wire to the senor yesterday....thats all it had and said for me to do nad it works great!!
