take off question!
In my 2002, when I take off fast or push it to the floor to take off it like holds back a lil bit like it is not wanting to move and THEN takes off....first though it was my tranny but i got it rebuilt and still does it so could it be my rear end? or is this suppost to happen?
turbo lag. . .
also what RPM's are you running when you punch it. . .for me anything below 1800 and I have terrable lag. . .above that and boost builds as fast as I can push the throttle down.

ill try it today, i dont remeber how high I let the boost build! and i am very much conidering twins instead of building a rock crawler for sure! how high should I let the boost build to before I left off the brake?
i hope its just turbo lag and i never thought or new about building boost [&:]guess that comes from dirivng a HEMI before the cummins!

well theres your problem. . .
you just have to remember you cannot just stab the throttle on a diesel. . .you have to roll into it.
also if your doing boosted launches, start with 10 psi. . .15 tops. and you would be amazed how well a larger turbo moves air just as well as twins.
