JIMMY!!!!

SIT DOWN!

THINK FOR A MINUTE MAN!!!!

UP GRADES = MORE POWER

MORE POWER = POSSIBLILITY OF BLOWIN ENGINE ON TRACK OR STREET*

* WAY TO SAVE ENGINE WHEN AT CRITICAL........GUAGES!!!!

YOU MUST HAVE GUAGES IN ORDER TO RUN UPGRADES SAFELY!!!

ASK TRITON!!!

I AM CONSIDERING AN 'EGT' GUAGE FOR MY 1ST GEN DUE TO WATER TEMP INCREASE WHILE POWER BRAKING AT LIGHTS OR REVING UP AND PASSING ON THE FREEWAY!!

It may not make a diff on mine right now, but when I seE my water temp go up, the egts must be climbing too .....

IF THIS IS NOT ENOUGH TO AT LEAST MAKE YOU THINK TWICE ABOUT NO GUAGES,THEN I WISH YOU LUCK AT THE TRACK!

BESIDES, I WILL BE YOUR WARM UP RACE [sm=badbadbad.gif] BEFORE YOU RACE SHARX.....

you wouldnt want todestroy your engine while racing my 1st gen, now would you!!!

I don't think guages should be a mod, they are a necessity so they should come stock. Even if my truck was completely stock I would still want guages.

yea I have a tach, an oil temp guage would be nice too, and I would rather have an amperage guage rather than a volt guage. The old ford I used to have had one and it was nice because if the alternator or something malfunctioned it would show a discharge and you knew something was wrong. It wasthe 10 dollar part that just told the alternator when to turn on, but if it hadn't shown a discharge eventually my batteries would have died.

*DISCLAIMER* - Your signature picture can NOT exceed 500x250 in size. Any pictures that do will be subject to removal by the admin.

Need help resizing your pictures to make them fit? Here's a quick, easy way if you dont have any photo resizing programs....you can also PM me on the forum...

1) Go to www.resize2mail.com
2) Select option below (25% smaller 75%smaller etc..)
3) Click chose, and chose the correct image
4) Click ok
5) Right click on image after it is loaded and save as (desktop)

Part 1:

For starters, you need to find a place that will host your image/picture. You must use a hosting site for this. There are a few decent places that do it for free like.....

www.photobucket.com or www.imageshack.us

I chose to use Photobucket for this as I found it easier to use for demonstration purposes, and because it's easier to access from anywhere.

To start, you need to create an account if you dont already have a hosting site account. To do this....go to www.photobucket.com Once there, you will need to register for an account. This takes a few seconds and you fill out a little information.
You know Moderator Sharx, I have been browsing posts and I noticed a few others have sigs that are not regulation. You would not be unethically (based on the sig I had) just singling me out would you? That would be a gross misrepresentation of power as a moderator wouldn't it?
