i agree w/ frogger... mosy patient truck owner ive ever seen!

the truck is looking nice though, that front brush gaurd is sweet...... who makes it?

 

it looks like the romik, but painted to match?

also, i could only find the romik's to fit up to an '05....?

 

Most patient? hahaha. there's no patience here! Goddamn I want my truck! The brush guard is Romik... but had to be custom installed as this particular Romik is not made for 07 -08 trucks. It comes chromed.... The winch is a Warn 9000lb. I ordered a 12000 but they couldn't get it mounted.

I've also had them install a train horn - the loudest I could find - the horns are underneath the truck - on the passenger side (in RHD) and the compressor under the drivers side...

Other work they've done - bedliner - steel bed rails, sliding bed cover, interior has stainless steel door entry guards.

Edge with attitude. And so on... wondering if I should have an aftermarket exhaust system and maybe air intake?

 

might as well! as long as you are already getting the edge and all... would be a lot easier to do all at once and have it done with, cause you know you're gonna want it down the road. what all customizing had to be done with the romik? thats one of the few i like and have been looking at it for a while, just was hoping they were finally gonna put one out for the '07s, but doesn't look like its gonna happen[:@]

 

The romik guard simply needed the mounting brackets changed - couldn't tell you exactly what but the guys who put it on did complain somewhat!

What air intake and exhaust system would folks suggest? And which are easily installed at home?

Here's an update - work is underway and I should ahve delivery within a month... although I've learnt that holding my breath whilst waiting only results in a blue face!

You can see from the pictures how radical a job a right hand conversion is...pretty hair raising for an owner of a brand new truck who has never driven it!

Who'd you get to do the conversion, the guys in Gibralter or Australia?

Are you getting polycarbonate windows and the kevlar door insertstoo?

You are going to love it...

BTW, here in the US, we are complaining about $4.50/gallon diesel... what is it there?
