yea, everything runs as if nothing ever happened! i kinda figured it would be alright being that i drove about 20 miles that day after the change. im hoping they make that mistake everytime so i get synthetic oil changes for under $40

Man I just wouldn't feel comfortable knowing that there could be something just sitting in there waiting to do some damage. Good luck and hope it runs forever.

Have you noticed any difference with the synchetic oils?

What lessons have we learned here? Maybe not to trust oil coming out of open bulk oil containers???

no i have not, i think my truck warms up a tad faster but it could all be in my head?!?!

this is very true! but when it comes to doing my own stuff for some reason i always pay the extra money so i dont have to make a day out of it. in the spring every year for my pops company, i (being his son) have to take the duty of bringing out all the equiptment from winter storage and i have to change all the oil on everything! we go thru about 25 gallons of oil just in all of our stuff so for about a week straight everyday thats all im doing. we dont have a shop either so its always on the cold ground, and for some reason every year dont matter how much i try to stay clean i always end up with a gallons of used oil spilt all over me because the damn filters are always so hard to get off clean.... i cant stand doind oil changes

this might explain why i bring my truck to get done by someone else including my quad and bike aswell
